We organize an open Satellite-Building workshop in Yebes 28/12/2018 The past Monday 28, right before the new year came in, we organized our last 2018 workshop. In this activity for the entire family, young (and not that young) engineers, designed space exploration missions and built their own satellites and spacecraft. Trough teamwork, activating their imagination, and using their critical thinking skills, they managed to solve all the problems on their way and came up with some designs worthy of space agencies. For sure, they will take home with them valuable knowledge on the Solar System characteristics, satellites and spacecraft components, resources management, mission planning, and teamwork. Moreover, they will long remember how much fun they had dressed like real astronauts, having fun with their engineer colleagues, and enjoying the visit of Astronaut Lili, who joined the workshop and surprised everyone with her space stories and free Solar System posters for everyone.
