European Researchers’ Night

Interplanetary Journey participated in this incredible event with the activity "Approaching the stars".
04/10/2018

The European Researchers’ Night is a science-dissemination project from the European Union that since 2005 has been simultaneously held in 340 European cities. In Madrid, it is promoted by the Ministry of Education and Research and coordinated by the madrid+d foundation. This year, it was held on Friday, December 28. This night, spread throughout the city in schools, museums, universities, companies and institutions, there were up to 36 activities to enjoy and learn. And all of them for free.

Interplanetary Journey couldn't miss such an event. In this incredible night we collaborated in the event held by the Instituto Nacional de Técnica Aeroespacial (INTA) in the Museo de Aeronáutica y Astronáutica de Madrid. With our activity "Approaching the stars", over 400 assistants of all ages travelled trough the universe with Astronaut Lili. During this sensory and interactive trip, all the family members lived an incredible adventure through space, remembering and learning what we know about the planets of the Solar System and the missions from different space agencies that went there to explore them.

We do love organizing this kind of family events to and sow the seeds of curiosity in children and adults so that they may share knowledge among them. We must learn about family since early ages to discover the scientific vocations in future researchers and researchers.
